DARC is a large organization whose task it is to find, document, and occasionally destroy the magical anomalies in what has come to be referred to as the old world. The nursing home is one such magical anomaly.

Many years have passed and it is long since abandoned. You can imagine the nursing home has become less of a separate entity and more at one with the woods around it. And yet—inexplicably—there still appears to be people residing in its ruins. They do not seem to notice that the place is no longer fit to live in. There is something in the air. Something off.
